E-Commerce Website
This e-commerce shop is one of my favorite projects that I had the opportunity to work on. I had complete liberty in regard to design and I enjoyed creating a website that is going to convert.
This website received a special attention on it’s Ajax slider features that is actually the Cart. I implemented a couple of different CRO hypotesys on the cart and the one that proved to work the best is the Free shipping bar. This website has integrated Clarity as a tool of choice to heatmaps and recordings. Carefully tracking the user behaviour, I have come to a conclusion that for this type of products and demographics, the most impactful incentive is Free shipping.
This website uses paid theme that was further customized to fit the client branding and needs.
Problems
The biggest challenge with this website was its positioning on Google. This brand is pretty saturated in the targeted demographic and it is competing against the authority websites that have been present for a couple of years in this market. The imperative was to try and save the budget, and that is why I have decided to go with the SEO optimization.
Based on the user trend monitoring, I was focused to create engaging blog articles that are going to answer some questions that are related to the niche topic and then offer these products as the solution.
We were able to get on the first page of Google within 4 months.
Final Look
Results
The website continues to generate stable monthly income. Its design gives users sense of authority and security and due to those factors its AOV tends to be higher than average.
With the SEO optimized blog articles it still holds a strong position on Google.
